Responsibilities
- Define engineering standards, best practices, and technical strategy across teams and projects.
- Provide technical leadership across architecture, design, implementation, and deployment.
- Influence system architecture to support scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Contribute hands-on to complex, high-impact full stack development efforts.
- Establish code quality through design reviews, code reviews, and engineering governance.
- Mentor and coach engineers at all levels and support leadership development.
- Lead initiatives that improve engineering practices, tooling, and team effectiveness.
- Collaborate with developers, stakeholders, architects, product owners, business analysts, and quality engineers.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of hands-on full stack development experience.
- 3–5 years of technical leadership experience.
- Expertise in back-end technologies such as Spring Boot and/or front-end technologies such as Angular and TypeScript.
- Strong knowledge of Java and the Spring framework, plus SQL and ORM tools such as Hibernate.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and AngularJS.
- Experience applying software architecture and design patterns, including object-oriented and functional approaches.
- Familiarity with SASS/SCSS and accessible application development using screen readers and other assistive tools.
- Experience producing clean, unit-tested, maintainable code and promoting coding standards and best practices.
- Experience with Oracle and MongoDB databases and AWS or other cloud computing platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of Docker, NgRx, and RxJS is preferred.
