Base Salary
$205k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve production infrastructure for Quanta’s accounting and finance platform, including ledgers, reconciliation pipelines, and automation workflows
- Design and refine core primitives, object-level data models, and domain interfaces for complex business structures
- Own problems from initial discovery through validation, implementation, and customer impact
- Design modular systems with customization capabilities and clear data-integrity guardrails
- Collaborate closely with accountants and engineers to translate real-world finance problems into technical solutions
- Explore tools, workflows, and agentic systems that use AI to increase engineering and product leverage
- Ship quickly while maintaining predictable behavior, reliability, and long-term system durability
Requirements
- 6–7+ years of full-stack engineering experience, ideally on small, high-impact B2B teams
- Strong technical fundamentals across modern backend and frontend systems
- Systems thinking across API design, data modeling, and reliability
- Product mindset and sound judgment around tradeoffs
- Comfort with ambiguity, ownership, and self-direction
- Strong collaboration skills
- Experience with financial systems, ledgers, or accounting workflows is a bonus
- Willingness to work fully in person with the team in San Francisco
