Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize embedded software solutions for space services and satellite systems.
- Support bare-metal and RTOS firmware development for embedded microcontrollers.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement mission-critical software for space-based applications.
- Optimize software for adaptability, performance, reliability, and security.
- Test new and existing firmware and perform system bring-up, debugging, and validation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards, including ECSS and MISRA.
Requirements
- Degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in embedded software development.
- Strong foundation in real-time operating systems.
- Proficiency in C++; Python knowledge is a plus.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle from requirements through testing closure and maintenance.
- Familiarity with computer architecture, microprocessors, microcontrollers, caches, buses, DMA, ADC, SPI, and PWM.
- Knowledge-sharing, proactive learning, communication, and a positive attitude are valued.
