Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Keet Mobile peer-to-peer chat and calling app for iOS and Android.
- Build features for chat, voice and video calls, media sharing, device pairing, and identity backup.
- Integrate native capabilities including push notifications, camera, biometrics, and background tasks.
- Profile and optimize startup time, long-chat performance, media handling, battery use, and network use on real devices.
- Write unit and end-to-end tests and help maintain release stability through CI and crash reporting.
- Collaborate with the core P2P, design, and product teams and participate in code reviews.
Requirements
- Significant experience with React Native.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ES6+.
- Experience with Redux, Redux-Saga, WebSockets, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience working with remote teams and interest in modernizing and optimizing mobile or web applications.
- Knowledge of Swift or Kotlin and familiarity with Xcode or Android Studio are advantageous.
- Experience with P2P frameworks is a bonus.
