Responsibilities
- Lead complex solution design activities and translate business requirements into scalable system and application designs.
- Document technical functionality, infrastructure, interfaces, and integrations.
- Support data platform strategy, modernization, technology roadmaps, and multiple complex technology initiatives.
- Build and enhance DevOps practices, automation, deployment processes, infrastructure management, and platform reliability.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using Terraform.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures to minimize downtime.
- Act as a solution lead by facilitating design reviews and ensuring alignment with business and architectural standards.
- Partner with stakeholders and mentor junior team members through knowledge sharing and practical problem solving.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining DevOps processes for data platforms.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services and Databricks.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub and support for CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience developing and implementing Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Experience with infrastructure automation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and reliability improvement.
- Ability to lead complex technology initiatives, translate requirements into solutions, and collaborate with business and technology partners.
- Ability to mentor junior team members and communicate technical information effectively.
- Must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and, where applicable, hold a valid work or study permit.
