Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of RTOS-based embedded platforms for automotive applications.
- Define system architecture, task scheduling strategies, and inter-process communication mechanisms.
- Manage RTOS configurations, BSPs, and device drivers for automotive microcontrollers and SoCs.
- Optimize system performance, latency, and resource utilization.
- Drive integration and compliance with ISO 26262, ASPICE, and ISO 21434.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, safety, suppliers, tool vendors, and OEM teams.
- Own the RTOS platform roadmap and contribute to long-term software strategy.
- Conduct testing, debugging, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of system functionality.
- Mentor and guide embedded engineers across multiple vehicle programs.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience is required, including overall experience in the infotainment domain and Android development.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, electronics, or a related field, with 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong experience in RTOS development with technologies such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr, QNX, VxWorks, or AUTOSAR OS.
- Proficiency in embedded C/C++, task scheduling, and low-level debugging.
- Deep understanding of CAN, LIN, and Ethernet automotive communication protocols.
- Experience with safety-critical systems and real-time constraints.
- Familiarity with bootloaders, memory management, and interrupt handling.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
