Responsibilities
- Build and ship end-to-end features in the iOS or Android application.
- Own a focused internship project with a defined deliverable and measurable user impact.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and cross-functional meetings with product and design.
- Investigate and resolve issues involving UI responsiveness, memory usage, media playback, and platform behavior.
- Collaborate with backend and design teams to implement high-quality mobile features.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Swift for iOS or Kotlin/Java for Android, with working knowledge of the relevant platform SDK and UI framework.
- Understanding of mobile fundamentals including app lifecycle, memory management, threading, and layout systems.
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to user experience.
- Personal projects, coursework, or open-source mobile development experience are welcome; App Store or Play Store shipping experience is preferred.
- iOS candidates may benefit from exposure to AVFoundation, Core Image, or Instruments.
- Android candidates may benefit from familiarity with Jetpack libraries such as Room, LiveData, ViewModel, and Compose, or Android Studio Profiler.
- Interest in video, media processing, real-time messaging, content creation tools, or social platforms is preferred.
- Comfort working in an ambiguous, fast-iteration product environment is preferred.
