Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build, test, debug, and maintain automation tools and scripts supporting cyber, software assurance, system scanning, remediation, recovery, and maintenance workflows.
- Develop primarily in Python and Bash for Linux-based development, laboratory, and system environments.
- Integrate Fortify, SonarQube, Coverity, or equivalent security-scanning tools into CI/CD workflows.
- Triage scan results, identify repeatable remediation patterns, and automate common fixes where practical.
- Support installation, troubleshooting, remediation, recovery, and maintenance activities for mission-critical systems.
- Collaborate with software, systems, cyber, integration, and test engineers to improve technical workflows.
- Document scripts, tools, procedures, and recovery steps for team reuse and maintenance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, or a related technical field, plus at least two years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
- Strong hands-on Linux experience, including administration, troubleshooting, shell scripting, and Linux-based development or laboratory environments.
- Proficiency building automation tools or scripts with Python and Bash.
- Experience supporting system installation, troubleshooting, remediation, recovery, or maintenance activities.
- Experience with or exposure to source-code security scanning or software-assurance tools such as Fortify, SonarQube, Coverity, or equivalent tools.
- Ability to translate technical requirements and recurring manual processes into scripts, tools, CI/CD steps, or documented workflows.
- Familiarity with Windows administration, PowerShell, system-hardening practices, Docker, or vulnerability scanning is helpful but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across software, systems, cyber, integration, and test disciplines.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- An active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain one within a reasonable time after employment begins is required.
