Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable backend systems and services.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices for the fintech platform.
Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver product features.
Write clean, reusable, efficient code and participate in code reviews.
Troubleshoot, debug, upgrade, and monitor applications and resolve production issues.
Maintain the security and integrity of backend systems, data, and APIs.
Work with databases, caching systems, testing frameworks, and automated deployment tools.

2 to 4 years of experience in backend development.
JavaScript experience is required, with proficiency in server-side technologies such as Node.js, NestJS, Express, or Python.
Strong understanding of RESTful API design, development, databases, and data modeling.
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Proficiency with Git and understanding of software development best practices, testing, security, and scalability.
Experience with Redis or Memcached and unit testing frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, Sinon, or Jest.
Experience with microservices architecture is required.
Knowledge of fintech or payment systems and CI/CD pipelines is beneficial.
Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
