Base Salary
$83k - $108k/yr
Responsibilities
- Integrate models and components into large-scale simulations.
- Develop and maintain GUIs, analysis tools, and automation for building and testing.
- Contribute to software design and architecture, implement capabilities, perform testing, and resolve bugs and issues.
- Collaborate with radar systems and modeling-and-simulation engineers.
- Port code between Windows and Linux environments.
- Travel up to 5% to Navy facilities around the Washington, DC area, with irregular farther travel as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical degree grounded in computer programming.
- Skill in C/C++ or Java.
- Interest in the Navy’s AEGIS Combat System and defense technology.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Preferred: experience with Qt and Microsoft Visual Studio and familiarity with Windows and Linux environments.
