Responsibilities
- Assist in testing software changes to meet design specifications.
- Research, test, and report results of testing scenarios.
- Write release notes and documentation for system enhancements.
- Participate in design teams for product enhancements.
- Test system documentation and suggest edits.
- Answer basic questions regarding application screens and processes.
- Communicate with developers on product issues.
- Gather and interpret design and test specifications.
- Leverage generative AI tools to enhance productivity.
- Commit to NISC’s Statement of Shared Values.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of quality assurance testing and automated testing tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic issues.
- Familiarity with business-related software applications.
- Knowledge of NISC’s technology stacks.
- Understanding of the Utility or Broadband industries.
- Basic knowledge of Project Management processes.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent telephone/email etiquette.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to set and manage customer expectations.
- Demonstrate initiative and accountability.
- Basic knowledge of software and integrations.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
