Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and hands-on implementation of complex integrations between Ivalua and enterprise systems.
- Configure and develop integrations using Ivalua tools, APIs, ETL/EAI and middleware technologies, file-based interfaces, and scripting.
- Define reusable integration patterns, standards, documentation, testing frameworks, error handling, logging, reconciliation, and recovery approaches.
- Analyze performance, troubleshoot critical integration incidents, and support build, testing, deployment, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Lead or co-lead customer technical workshops and collaborate with functional consultants, solution architects, data engineers, and project managers.
- Provide technical input for complex proposals, solution design, effort estimation, and technical due diligence.
- Mentor integration leads and consultants, guide partner integration teams, and contribute knowledge articles, reference implementations, and technical guidance.
- Provide structured feedback to Product and Engineering teams regarding integration capabilities and feature gaps.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in technical integration, technical consulting, or web-based software development, ideally in SaaS or complex enterprise environments.
- Significant hands-on experience designing and implementing integrations with ETL/EAI or other integration and middleware technologies.
- Strong practical experience with SOAP and REST APIs, including API consumption, design principles, authentication, and error handling.
- Experience with SFTP, FTPS, API-based and file-based data transfer, and formats including CSV, XML, and JSON; cXML/EDI experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with relational databases and SQL, including complex query writing and tuning, data analysis, and performance investigation.
- Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex problems across applications, middleware, and databases.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder-management, and technical workshop leadership skills.
- Experience in customer-facing Professional Services or consulting environments and managing multiple workstreams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related technical field or foreign equivalent.
- Willingness to travel approximately 10–20% as project needs require.
- Preferred experience includes procurement or source-to-pay, finance, or supply chain domains; systems integrators or consulting partners; cloud platforms and integration services; automation or AI-assisted integration tools; and relevant technical certifications.
