Responsibilities
- Research and immerse yourself in a real RBC business challenge.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to design, create, and deliver a fully functional prototype.
- Work with subject matter experts, mentors, executive sponsors, and technology and business stakeholders.
- Use industry-standard and emerging technologies to build an innovative product or solution.
- Develop project strategy and communications and present the solution to executives and stakeholders.
- Participate in training opportunities including design thinking, agile development, and other tools.
Requirements
- Be currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution and graduating between August 2027 and June 2028; eligible institutions include college, undergraduate, master's, and PhD programs.
- Understand programming languages, databases, platforms, frameworks, design techniques and tools, code management tooling, and/or web technologies.
- Understand Agile methodologies and processes.
- Have strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Be a creative, analytical, self-driven thinker who can work in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate leadership, teamwork, collaboration, adaptability, and the ability to develop solutions in ambiguous situations.
- Have experience with one or more of cloud platforms, mobile application development, DevOps tools and processes, full-stack technologies, service-based architectures, or API development.
- Hackathon experience, web or mobile development experience, stakeholder presentation experience, FinTech interest, agile or design thinking experience, and Figma experience are nice to have.
