Base Salary
$136k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze, develop, and modify embedded software using modern development techniques, primarily in C/C++.
- Identify risks, recommend mitigations, track defects, develop resolutions, and report status.
- Design and execute unit tests and build verification test plans, and track test status.
- Test and verify software on simulators and production hardware in System Integration Laboratories.
- Evaluate new technologies before implementation.
- Participate with systems engineering in technical peer, design, architecture, and end-to-end system reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM discipline and 8 years of related experience.
- At least 6 years of experience working in C/C++.
- At least 6 years of experience with real-time embedded software.
- At least 6 years of experience across the full software lifecycle, including specification, design, implementation, integration, debugging, and maintenance.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Secret clearance is required to start, with eligibility for Special Program Access and the ability to maintain both for continued employment.
- Preferred qualifications include algorithmic application development and optimization; Electronic Warfare, Built-in Test, or calibrations; VxWorks or Linux; Visual Studio; Matlab; Coverity, SonarQube, or Clockwork; open architecture solutions; Atlassian tools; Kubernetes; Model Based Engineering; and DevSecOps practices.
