Responsibilities
- Implement scalable software-defined storage components.
- Drive design discussions, build prototypes, and contribute to high-quality products.
- Conduct code reviews and improve solution scalability, stability, reliability, and performance.
- Collaborate with teammates and integrate with a group of developers in an outcome-oriented environment.
- Work with program management to deliver product releases successfully.
- Contribute to and validate product documentation.
- Manage, engage with, and complete assigned projects.
- Provide regular project progress and activity updates.
- Travel occasionally for team meetings or training as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or an equivalent degree/experience.
- At least 8 years of software development experience.
- Extensive knowledge of GoLang.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes for managing and orchestrating containerized applications in cloud environments.
- Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS, including EC2, S3, and RDS.
- AWS Solutions Architect certification or equivalent experience is highly desirable.
- Strong experience with Elasticsearch for search and data retrieval.
- Experience with Cassandra and Prometheus in distributed systems.
- Proficiency with unit testing and mocking frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
- Understanding of SOLID principles, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
- Basic Linux experience, including deployment and bash scripting.
- Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong communication skills for articulating technical concepts and mentoring teams.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and event-driven systems is preferred.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Shell is preferred.
