Base Salary
$48k - $87k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance software prototypes, APIs, and services supporting data analytics, machine learning, and user-facing applications.
- Contribute to frontend interfaces and backend services.
- Write maintainable code with tests and troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Participate in design sessions, code reviews, and agile ceremonies.
- Research and evaluate technologies and present findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with software and systems engineers, researchers, and data scientists on information retrieval, UI engineering, metrics, computer vision, and autonomous systems.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, mathematics, data science, or a related field.
- Experience with at least one of Python, Java, or C++.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Preferred experience includes building prototypes or applications through coursework, clubs, hackathons, research, or personal projects.
- Preferred exposure includes data cleansing, transformation, feature engineering, exploratory analysis, Git/GitHub, VS Code, Jupyter Notebooks, backend development, SQL, Docker, Linux, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, AWS, Azure, and build pipelines.
- Familiarity with Rust and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with polygraph are preferred.
