Base Salary
$129k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and operate physical access control systems, maintaining their health, availability, and security.
- Integrate enterprise and commodity hardware through proprietary and open source protocols.
- Develop extensible management tooling and custom APIs for security-system integration.
- Build infrastructure-as-code deployment and configuration-management automation frameworks.
- Create monitoring and alerting systems to track service health and detect anomalies.
- Implement secure communication and authentication between distributed systems.
- Write maintainable code, perform peer code reviews, and improve deployment reliability and scalability.
- Partner with internal customers to understand operational challenges and deliver solutions in classified environments.
Requirements
- Experience automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
- Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
- Experience with Linux/Unix and CI/CD pipeline build processes.
- Current, active US Government TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
- Preferred experience designing, building, operating, or managing large-scale distributed systems or web services.
- Preferred experience integrating enterprise or commodity hardware, building production monitoring and alerting, and using infrastructure as code and configuration management.
- The selected candidate must be a US citizen and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
