Responsibilities
- Develop scalable firmware, tools, reusable test libraries, and automation frameworks in Python and C/C++.
- Perform SoC validation, bring-up, deep debugging, and root-cause analysis across hardware, silicon, and firmware.
- Design and validate board- and platform-level interactions involving power delivery, sequencing, clocks, and interfaces.
- Use logic analyzers, JTAG, trace tools, oscilloscopes, and other lab equipment to isolate and resolve issues.
- Coordinate with multiple technical teams, track test execution, and support hardware/firmware trade-offs and feature enablement.
- Improve product development and validation processes through tool development, methodology enhancements, and cross-functional initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science.
- Programming or scripting experience with languages such as C, C++, Perl, Ruby, or Python.
- Knowledge of debugging techniques, methodologies, system architecture, and validation strategies.
- Experience with common laboratory equipment, including protocol analyzers, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
- Experience with board- or platform-level debugging, including power delivery, sequencing, analysis, and optimization.
