Base Salary
$250k - $290k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop foundational components and frameworks for the agentic AI platform.
- Build platform solutions that empower developers and serve multiple products and engineering teams.
- Collaborate with machine learning engineers to create infrastructure supporting ML workflows.
- Develop high-performance, scalable platform and backend systems in Rust.
- Provide production support and troubleshoot performance, scalability, and reliability challenges.
- Stay current with design patterns, techniques, and technologies relevant to platforms and frameworks.
- Promote collaboration, psychological safety, inclusion, and technical excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 15+ years of software and platform engineering experience.
- Strong track record designing and operating large-scale distributed systems.
- Expert Rust programming experience and experience developing high-performance systems.
- Experience building platform infrastructure and backend systems serving multiple products and engineering teams.
- Expertise in database architecture and scalable data systems, including distributed databases, storage and indexing systems, data modeling, schema design, and high-throughput, low-latency data access patterns.
- Experience designing systems that support AI and machine learning workloads.
- Familiarity with workflow engines, execution runtimes, and AI orchestration frameworks.
- US citizenship or permanent residency is required due to US government contract requirements.
- Preferred qualifications include startup or 0-to-1 product experience, Kubernetes familiarity, and understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for platform deployment.
