Base Salary
$154k - $217k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product, design, operations, and infrastructure teams to build innovative application experiences.
- Implement user interfaces and develop reusable software components for backend platforms.
- Analyze and optimize code for quality, efficiency, performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Lead complex technical or product efforts, set technical direction, and provide guidance to peers.
- Architect efficient and scalable systems and resolve performance and scalability issues.
- Own components, features, or systems with end-to-end technical understanding.
- Develop and ship machine learning models at scale from inception through business impact.
- Apply responsible and ethical AI practices, including risk assessment, bias mitigation, and quality and accuracy reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 6 years of programming experience in a relevant language, or 3+ years of experience with a PhD.
- Track record of setting technical direction, driving consensus, and building successful cross-functional partnerships.
- Experience building maintainable and testable codebases, including API design and unit testing techniques.
- Preferred: experience shipping high-quality, reliable software and improving quality through code reviews, testing, rollouts, monitoring, and proactive changes.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience in machine learning, recommendation systems, pattern recognition, data mining, artificial intelligence, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: knowledge of C/C++ and Java development and debugging.
- Preferred: demonstrated ability to use AI tools to optimize or redesign workflows and drive measurable impact.
- Preferred: experience with responsible AI practices and ongoing AI skill development, including prompt/context engineering and agent orchestration.
Benefits
- Base salary of $154,003/year to $217,000/year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
