Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and lead the implementation of production-grade AI and machine learning solutions.
- Define and evolve MLOps platforms and pipelines covering model training, validation, versioning, deployment, monitoring, and governance.
- Industrialize Data Science prototypes and notebooks into high-performance production services.
- Design APIs, microservices, batch-processing services, and event-oriented architectures for integrating AI and LLMs with enterprise applications.
- Implement automated testing, code review, technical documentation, observability, modular design, and CI/CD processes.
- Define model monitoring strategies covering performance, drift detection, data quality, explainability, and alerting.
- Integrate AI solutions with data platforms, cloud architectures, and enterprise ecosystems while ensuring security, performance, and resilience.
- Define reference architectures, technical standards, and development best practices for production AI solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and collaborate with business, engineering, architecture, and operations teams.
Requirements
- More than 5 years of experience designing, developing, and industrializing AI, machine learning, or generative AI solutions in enterprise environments.
- Strong software engineering experience with design principles, architecture, automated testing, code review, documentation, and development best practices.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and AI/ML ecosystems including PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, Hugging Face Transformers, and generative AI libraries.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing full-lifecycle MLOps platforms and pipelines.
- Advanced knowledge of Git and continuous integration and deployment processes.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, REST APIs, microservices, batch processing, event-oriented architectures, and cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience integrating AI solutions with data platforms, distributed architectures, and enterprise ecosystems.
- Ability to lead technical decisions, mentor engineers, collaborate across disciplines, and communicate complex solutions to varied audiences.
- Preferred experience with generative AI, LLM applications, RAG, intelligent agents, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, Azure AI Foundry, Azure Machine Learning, MLflow, Kubeflow, Vertex AI, Amazon SageMaker, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Terraform, Bicep, ARM, CloudFormation, Spark, or Databricks.
- Knowledge of AI governance, security, privacy, responsible AI, regulatory compliance, and relevant cloud or AI certifications.
