Base Salary
$60k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide architectural guidance across complex development projects and recommend improvements to reliability, efficiency, quality, scalability, data integrity, and security.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, product teams, and business units to align application designs with broader architecture blueprints.
- Design and build large, cloud-ready, scalable, distributed software, enterprise web services, APIs, and microservices.
- Develop proofs of concept, evaluate software technologies, and present technical analyses and innovative solutions.
- Define and document coding, testing, debugging, implementation, integration, and architecture standards.
- Provide technical feedback through code reviews and contribute to product design meetings.
- Mentor engineers and collaborate with leaders to support ongoing skills development.
Requirements
- Experience designing and building large, cloud-ready, highly scalable, distributed software.
- Experience developing enterprise web services and APIs with ASP.NET Web API and .NET Core.
- Knowledge of C#, ASP.NET MVC, HTML5, JavaScript, and Angular web application development.
- Understanding of relational, No-SQL, and columnar data structures.
- Experience with cloud-native development on AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and other AI development tools.
- Experience building high-volume, fault-tolerant, reliable services using asynchronous design patterns.
- Experience with API design and development and OpenAPI specifications.
- Experience with microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, solve problems creatively, and assess downstream design impacts across complex product ecosystems.
- Track record of working across business units to refine and break down requirements into actionable development stories.
- Experience with Agile Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
