Responsibilities
- Design, build and iterate AI solutions for banking use cases from business requirements through production deployment.
- Develop and integrate Generative AI and Agentic AI applications with enterprise data, APIs, applications and banking technology environments.
- Engineer responsible-AI controls including access control, logging, traceability, explainability, auditability, human oversight and reproducibility.
- Establish testing, evaluation and monitoring approaches covering performance, quality, reliability, security and model behavior before and after deployment.
- Use approved AI-enabled development tools and automation for engineering, testing, documentation and troubleshooting while maintaining human review and secure development practices.
- Collaborate with engagement managers, AI consultants, client teams and business, product, data, risk and technology stakeholders.
Requirements
- Hands-on software or AI engineering experience designing, developing, integrating and deploying AI-enabled applications or services.
- Practical experience with Generative AI, large language models and related application patterns, plus an understanding of Agentic AI approaches.
- Experience integrating AI capabilities with enterprise systems, data sources and APIs, with knowledge of scalable application architecture, cloud environments and modern software engineering practices.
- Understanding of responsible AI and engineering controls for regulated environments, including privacy, cybersecurity, access control, logging, explainability, auditability and human oversight.
- Preferred experience building AI solutions in banking, financial services or another regulated environment.
- Preferred familiarity with RAG, tool use, structured outputs, evaluation frameworks, AI agents, AI/ML deployment, monitoring, observability and lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of the EU AI Act and its implications for AI design, engineering, documentation and governance is preferred.
