Base Salary
$132k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Advise customers and internal teams on architecture decisions, tradeoffs, risks, dependencies, and implementation options.
- Recommend cloud, data, AI/ML, and DevSecOps patterns aligned with government security and operational requirements.
- Build and update deterministic-agentic AI pipelines using LangChain and LlamaIndex.
- Fine-tune large language models for instruction following, code synthesis, and domain-specific adaptation.
- Integrate ASTs and control/data flow graphs to improve model explainability and trust.
- Create scalable, secure, and efficient AI architectures and guide implementation across AI/ML, data, cloud, DevSecOps, and legacy modernization efforts.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience building AI, ML, or data science applications.
- At least 2 years of experience in AI system design.
- Strong understanding of model context protocol (MCP), including its use with APIs, external data sources, and legacy code bases.
- Strong proficiency in Java for machine learning algorithms, data processing pipelines, or production AI integrations.
- Excellent proficiency in Python, API development, and secure system design.
- Active Secret Security clearance.
- Experience or familiarity with Department of War Databricks.
