Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data loads between diverse sources and destinations.
- Build simple and scalable data architecture.
- Develop hypotheses and tests that can be rapidly validated or discarded.
- Support data analysts in obtaining data for analysis.
- Share knowledge with colleagues.
- Document and catalog loaded data.
- Monitor data volumes and load execution times.
- Prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate ideas clearly.
Requirements
- Previous experience with extraction, transformation, and loading of data.
- Experience deploying and maintaining Airflow DAGs.
- Ability to structure concepts and problems and manage projects from conception through solution proposal.
- Familiarity with DataFactory and DataBricks.
- Experience with SQL and Python.
- Experience with AWS Athena, Amazon S3 buckets, and Airflow.
- Experience with CI/CD.
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality.
- Familiarity with BigQuery, Delta Lake, and Cloud Storage is desirable.
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code and containers is desirable.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Git is desirable.
- Experience with SonarCloud, Veracode, or similar tools is desirable.
- Strong communication, presentation, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
