Responsibilities
- Execute system-level manual and automated integration test procedures derived from software requirements.
- Identify, document, troubleshoot, and retest integration defects while collecting logs, traces, and diagnostic data.
- Develop and maintain automated regression tests using Python or a similar scripting language.
- Support software loading, subsystem build integration, laboratory operations, and system readiness.
- Collaborate with software developers, systems engineers, and integration teams in a configuration-controlled environment.
- Support integration events and testing outside standard business hours as required.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance or other required authorization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 0–2 years of experience in software integration, system test, or software engineering.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and basic proficiency in Python or a similar scripting language.
- Foundational understanding of software testing and software development lifecycle concepts.
- Ability to work on-site in laboratory environments and outside standard business hours.
- Preferred qualifications include exposure to distributed architectures, pub/sub messaging, automated test frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, version control systems such as Git, performance analysis tools, relevant internships, academic projects, or certifications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
