Base Salary
$130k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define, design, develop, test, and implement software functionality.
- Build and modify scalable distributed software systems.
- Partner with stakeholders and technology teams to implement features and enhancements.
- Ensure technical solutions are reliable, maintainable, scalable, and aligned with best practices.
- Participate in design and code reviews.
- Identify, isolate, and resolve software malfunctions.
- Create and evolve system-related documentation.
- Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field with 3 years of experience, or a master’s degree with 1 year of experience.
- At least 1 year of software engineering experience.
- Experience developing software components or services with Java 8, Spring Boot, Hibernate, jQuery, JSON, AngularJS, Tomcat, HTML5, CSS3, and Spring MVC.
- Experience with web services including SOAP/HTTP and REST.
- Experience with SQL and developing modules with relational databases and server technologies.
- Experience with quality assurance methodologies and automated testing using Selenium or JMeter.
- Experience with AWS, Terraform, open-source technologies, responsive module design, or continuous integration using Jenkins.
- Experience with service-oriented architecture, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, configuration management, and deployment.
- Experience building distributed, highly available, and high-performance systems.
