Base Salary
$120k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct R&D and production software development for next-generation radar products.
- Support software system integration on mostly commercial off-the-shelf hardware.
- Support deployed software capabilities used by U.S. and international customers.
- Collaborate across product families and engineering capabilities.
- Work full-time onsite in the El Segundo, California office.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional object-oriented software development experience.
- Extensive or advanced experience with Python.
- Solid understanding and extensive experience developing software using Linux.
- Experience with Agile lifecycle processes, including Scrum, Continuous Integration, and Test-Driven Development.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate on small teams.
- U.S. Person status required to access U.S.-only data systems.
- Preferred experience includes radar or other sensor development, radar modes and algorithms, signal processing, target detection and tracking, networks, CUDA, software-defined radios, advanced time synchronization, embedded software, Git, containers, cloud computing, virtualization, BIOS and secure boot technologies, encryption, visualization, defense architectures and messaging standards, modeling and simulation, DevOps or DevSecOps, high-TRL systems, hardware/software integration and verification, and languages such as C++, Rust, NodeJS, Java, and Go.
- Current or previous DoD security clearance is preferred.
