Responsibilities
- Implement, maintain, and improve AWS cloud infrastructure using CDK or AWS CloudFormation while following security, governance, and operational standards.
- Build, update, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, and related tools.
- Support containerized applications and cloud-native services using Docker, Amazon ECS, and Amazon EKS.
- Improve infrastructure automation, monitoring, logging, alerting, reliability, and operational performance using CloudWatch, Splunk, and other observability tools.
- Participate in production support, incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, deployment support, and on-call or operational support rotations.
- Collaborate with software engineering, security, architecture, and infrastructure teams on DevOps, DevSecOps, cloud migration, and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Document processes, contribute to technical standards, share knowledge, and identify opportunities to improve automation, reliability, and cloud cost awareness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related technical role.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience supporting or managing AWS cloud environments.
- Working knowledge of AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, Route 53, ELB, and Auto Scaling.
- Experience building, maintaining, or troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or Azure DevOps.
- Hands-on Infrastructure as Code experience with CDK and/or AWS CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Experience supporting application deployments or production environments, including on-call or operational support.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, documentation, and teamwork skills.
- Preferred qualifications include an AWS Associate-level certification, AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional certification, hybrid or multi-cloud experience, cloud migration or workload modernization experience, observability tooling experience, and familiarity with AWS cost optimization tools.
