Responsibilities
- Implement, maintain, and improve AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as CDK and AWS CloudFormation.
- Build, update, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, and related tools.
- Support containerized applications and cloud-native services using Docker, Amazon ECS, and Amazon EKS.
- Contribute to infrastructure automation, monitoring, logging, alerting, production support, incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with software engineering, security, architecture, and infrastructure teams on DevOps, DevSecOps, cloud migration, and operational improvements.
- Document processes, contribute to technical standards, share knowledge, and identify automation, reliability, and cloud cost improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related technical role.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience supporting or managing AWS cloud environments.
- Working knowledge of AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, Route 53, ELB, and Auto Scaling.
- Experience building, maintaining, or troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or Azure DevOps.
- Hands-on Infrastructure as Code experience with CDK and/or AWS CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes, plus scripting and automation proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience supporting application deployments or production environments, including on-call or operational support rotations.
- AWS Associate-level certification is preferred, with AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional certification as a plus.
- Preferred experience includes hybrid or multi-cloud environments, cloud migration, workload modernization, observability tools, and AWS cost optimization.
