Responsibilities
- Lead MES solution design and architecture for ATP implementation projects.
- Translate semiconductor manufacturing processes and customer requirements into functional and technical MES architectures.
- Define application, integration, and infrastructure system landscapes and develop customization or enhancement strategies.
- Coordinate application engineering, infrastructure, operating system, database, integration, and automation workstreams for end-to-end delivery.
- Engage customers to gather and validate requirements, provide MES consulting, and support pre-sales proposals and technical presentations.
- Identify technical risks, review solution designs, code, and deployment approaches, and ensure compliance with quality, standards, and audit requirements.
- Create solution architecture, interface strategy, system requirements, and functional design documentation.
- Lead customer technical reviews, evaluations, demonstrations, deployment activities, and application-support methodology development.
- Transfer new application capabilities from product divisions to customer application-support teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Electronics, Industry, or a related field, or an MBA with an Information Systems background.
- At least 5 years of experience in MES, CIM, or manufacturing systems in semiconductor front-end/back-end production or related LCD, LED, or electronics environments.
- Strong knowledge of 300works or similar MES platforms and the ATP domain.
- Experience with system architecture, integration, and large-scale deployment.
- Solid understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, including front-end and back-end operations.
- Experience in customer-facing consulting roles and strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.
- Fluency in English and Chinese and willingness to travel worldwide, especially to China.
- Preferred experience with MES platforms such as FactoryWorks, SiView, Camstar, PROMIS, or FAB300.
- Preferred familiarity with infrastructure architecture, message buses, ERP, MCS, EA, networking, databases, Unix, Linux, Windows, shell scripting, Jenkins, and Docker.
- Software development or coding experience is preferred.
