Cyber Automation Analyst - Security Operations Center
Ford MotorResponsibilities
- Design, build, test, and maintain high-fidelity cyber detections across security operations platforms.
- Develop automated response workflows using SIEM, SOAR, EDR, cloud, identity, and AI-enabled security capabilities.
- Translate attacker behavior, cloud telemetry, endpoint signals, identity events, and SOC case history into durable detection logic.
- Build, validate, and deploy AI-assisted SOC capabilities, including agent skills and retrieval-augmented workflows.
- Implement Model Context Protocol integrations, secure prompt and tool governance, and human-in-the-loop production safeguards.
- Advance Ford’s Cyber Defense Center detection engineering, automation, and Agentic SOC capabilities.
Requirements
- Deep cyber defense experience.
- Strong software engineering discipline and hands-on automation expertise.
- Experience with Google SecOps, GCP-hosted CI/CD pipelines, Tekton-based delivery workflows, and Python automation.
- Experience developing secure Agentic SOC capabilities using modern generative AI patterns.
- Willingness to work hybrid with four in-person days per week in the southeast Michigan metro area.
