Base Salary
$140k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy backend services and internal tools for settlement, funding, and liquidity management workflows.
- Partner with Product Ops and Product to automate or accelerate manual financial operations.
- Contribute across the stack through REST API handlers, database migrations, and React UI components.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and maintain production reliability for real-time financial systems.
- Write well-tested, reviewable code and contribute to technical discussions with engineering and cross-functional partners.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of software engineering experience building and shipping production systems.
- Backend experience with at least one of Java, Go, Python, or TypeScript, plus object-oriented development experience.
- Ability to contribute across backend APIs and UI components and work in existing codebases.
- Understanding of relational databases, REST API development, and basic distributed-systems concepts.
- Clear communication skills with operations, finance, and product partners.
- Active use of AI tools such as Claude, Copilot, or Cursor for writing, reviewing, and debugging code.
- Experience with financial systems, payments, or operations-automation workflows.
- Familiarity with Spring Boot, Postgres, and React.
- Experience crafting or deploying agentic systems such as approval workflows, reconciliation pipelines, or event-driven monitoring.
