Responsibilities
- Develop PD Controller firmware for notebook, desktop, and embedded host applications in compliance with USB PD specifications.
- Debug and troubleshoot USB PD firmware and collaborate with software, validation, design, and customer teams on system-level issues.
- Test and validate firmware applications for specification compliance, performance, and reliability.
- Implement new and customized features for customer designs.
- Provide technical training to internal and external stakeholders and maintain customer relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Information Engineering.
- 5+ years of work experience in firmware development-related fields.
- C programming and development skills.
- Experience with embedded processor architecture, firmware development environments, debugging techniques, and debugging tools.
- Experience with communication interfaces such as I2C, UART, and SPI.
- Knowledge of USB Power Delivery, hardware design, and version control tools such as Git is a plus.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills and fluency in Mandarin and English.
