Base Salary
$135k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and improve behavior-planning logic for urban driving, auto parking, and safety features, including state machines, mode arbitration, activation and abort conditions, and fault handling.
- Integrate ADAS application software across multiple ECUs and embedded Linux platforms, including interface definitions, signal mapping, timing, and cross-domain data flow.
- Decompose system-level ADAS requirements into traceable software tasks and implementations.
- Validate software using unit tests, SIL/HIL, test benches, on-vehicle testing, vehicle builds, and field operational tests.
- Collaborate with perception, motion planning and control, vehicle controls, HMI, systems, and validation teams to deliver features end to end.
- Support software releases, interface change management, documentation, and Jira-based work tracking.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of relevant industry or research experience in ADAS/AD, robotics, or embedded systems.
- Strong C++ programming skills and solid software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience developing and debugging on Linux and using Git-based workflows.
- Basic understanding of vehicle dynamics, state machines, or decision-making logic for autonomous systems.
- Strong debugging skills, eagerness to learn, and clear communication.
- Preferred: experience with embedded or automotive platforms such as NVIDIA Orin or Infineon Aurix, or with multi-ECU architectures.
- Preferred: familiarity with ROS/ROS 2, DDS, or SOME/IP middleware.
- Preferred: Python experience for tooling, log analysis, or test automation.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with urban driving, parking, or active-safety features such as AEB.
