Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, maintain, and verify manual and automated test cases throughout the project lifecycle.
- Design and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Playwright.
- Track software defects, report testing progress and risks, and verify resolved issues.
- Support validation activities by collecting testing evidence and generating validation reports.
- Test database queries, stored procedures, and views.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to define quality requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Create readable BDD test scenarios using frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution.
- Lead individual projects and act as the primary testing contact and escalation point.
- Provide guidance and set priorities for Test Engineers on assigned projects.
- Develop product knowledge to anticipate client needs and resolve complex issues.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in software testing or Quality Assurance.
- Completed graduation in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in the IRT/RTSM domain.
- Strong knowledge of software testing concepts, including manual and automated testing.
- Strong SQL query skills, including stored procedures.
- Knowledge of web applications and how they work.
- Expertise with testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Postman, or JMeter.
- Experience with a programming language such as Java or C# is a plus.
- Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow is highly desirable.
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for complex web applications.
