Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software for real-time control of advanced tactical radio equipment.
- Participate in requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, testing, and other phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and evaluate hardware-software interfaces, operational performance requirements, software test procedures, programs, and documentation.
- Apply digital signal processing, communication systems, filter structures, and modulation/coding algorithms.
- Use modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results.
- Participate in peer reviews and identify, track, and repair defects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in an agile environment.
Requirements
- Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor's degree or have completed a bachelor's degree within the last 12 months in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, wireless engineering, information security, mathematics, digital arts and sciences, or a related field.
- Preferred skills include one or more of C++, C#, C, Java, Ruby, JEE, HTML5, XML, SQL, Qt, Windows, .NET, Unix, Linux, SOA, RTOS, real-time controls, wireless, software security, robotics, OOA/OOD, Hadoop, Android, and embedded systems.
- Knowledge of digital signal processing, time-domain and frequency-domain analysis, filter structures, and modulation/coding algorithms is preferred.
