Responsibilities
- Develop and execute functional, integration, regression, exploratory, and reliability test cases for embedded software applications.
- Create and run automated test scripts using testing tools and frameworks.
- Identify, document, track, troubleshoot, and help resolve software defects.
- Participate in code reviews to improve testability and test coverage.
- Follow established software testing processes and methodologies.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or holding a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques.
- Familiarity with programming languages used in embedded-system testing, such as Python or Java.
- Some experience or coursework with automated testing frameworks and tools.
- Exposure to real-time operating systems and device drivers is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
