Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain reusable compute, storage, network, and security infrastructure components using Infrastructure as Code.
- Build reusable application deployment workflows and pipelines using containerization and GitOps practices.
- Automate Kubernetes cluster lifecycle management using CAPI and support application configuration automation.
- Implement automated backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures across multiple platforms.
- Apply Kubernetes security practices including RBAC controls, network policies, vulnerability scanning, and compliance monitoring.
- Design and deploy scalable, highly available distributed systems with comprehensive monitoring.
- Create documentation, runbooks, operational standards, and architecture diagrams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, test, and production environments.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in AWS cloud, Kubernetes, and DevOps roles.
- Experience building and deploying containerized applications using GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux CD.
- Proficiency with infrastructure automation and management using Terraform or OpenTofu.
- Hands-on CAPI experience for Kubernetes cluster management is highly desirable.
- Experience with Helm chart templating for Kubernetes packaging and deployment.
- Familiarity with Argo CD/Rollouts, Kustomize, OCI, and related cloud-native delivery technologies.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Shell, Groovy, or similar languages.
- AWS and Kubernetes certifications are a plus.
- Strong communication, organization, prioritization, collaboration, and independent-working skills.
