Software Engineer (Development & QA Automation) (Hybrid - Newark, NJ, Coppell, TX or NYC)

Responsibilities
- Conduct high-level technical analysis to determine feasibility and implementation approach.
- Provide accurate work estimates for project timelines and delivery commitments.
- Maintain and migrate existing codebases to newer platforms.
- Develop, automate, and execute test cases, verifying results before business or client acceptance testing.
- Provide input into integration, implementation, and deployment strategies.
- Maintain operating manuals and system documentation.
- Support, update, and enhance automation tools.
- Complete special projects and assignments as needed to support the department.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Strong knowledge of programming, testing, and deployment tools, techniques, and applicable languages.
- Knowledge of application analysis and design methodologies, including database concepts.
- Practical experience with Perl, Python, Java, Linux, and shell scripting.
- Experience developing and executing automated tests as part of the delivery cycle.
- Knowledge of AFP and PDF print formatting, including content and formatting testing.
- Working knowledge of the software development project life cycle and Agile methodology.
