Base Salary
$78k - $86k/yr
Responsibilities
- Integrate containerized software applications into the Linux-based Common Computing Environment PaaS using Kubernetes or another container runtime.
- Improve software build processes and configure hardware and software test environments.
- Develop Bash and Python scripts to automate software installation, testing, and monitoring.
- Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to isolate software problems.
- Provide technical leadership and identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, engineering, science, or mathematics.
- Skilled in integrating containerized applications with Kubernetes or another container runtime such as Docker Swarm.
- Skilled in Bash and Python scripting for installation, testing, and monitoring automation.
- Advanced software troubleshooting skills.
- U.S. citizenship is required, and applicants must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at the time of hire.
- Experience with Ansible infrastructure-as-code, Linux, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux is preferred.
- Red Hat System Administrator/Engineer certification is preferred.
