Base Salary
$120k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Set quality strategies, testing approaches, quality gates, and release criteria for scalable and resilient systems.
- Architect, design, implement, and maintain scalable end-to-end test automation frameworks.
- Lead performance, load, stress, and security testing design and strategy.
- Develop and maintain automated tests for RESTful and WebSocket APIs.
- Guide cloud-native and enterprise application quality practices.
- Mentor QA and software engineers and provide technical leadership.
- Collaborate with design, development, and DevOps teams to integrate quality into development and deployment processes.
- Evaluate industry trends and recommend testing tools and quality engineering technologies.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in software development testing across multiple platforms and technologies.
- Professional experience with Playwright, Cypress, WebDriverIO, or comparable automation tools using TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Expertise designing scalable, secure, and efficient QA frameworks for cloud-native and enterprise applications.
- In-depth experience testing RESTful and/or WebSocket APIs and building high-performance automated test suites.
- Strong knowledge of test automation design patterns such as Page Object Model and Data-Driven Testing.
- Experience with AWS and Kubernetes, including testing and validating cloud-native deployments and scaling.
- Experience mentoring and guiding QA teams.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- U.S. citizenship is required, and candidates must hold a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI.
- Preferred qualifications include quality-driven developer tooling experience, such as static analysis and test environment provisioning, and experience with React, Angular, Vue, Express, or Next.js.
