Base Salary
$204k - $290k/yr
Responsibilities
- Set technical strategy for the team on a year-long time scale.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Define and advocate for technical solutions and operational processes.
- Ensure team operations and availability through effective monitoring and alerting.
- Establish code review and design standards, promoting quality and ownership.
- Provide feedback and guidance to develop talent within the team.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in designing, developing, and launching backend systems.
- Proficiency in languages like Python or Kotlin.
- Experience with highly available distributed systems using AWS, MySQL, Spark, and Kubernetes.
- Background in financial systems, ledgering, or treasury where data accuracy is critical.
- Ability to deliver major features and write high-quality, understandable code.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
