Responsibilities
- Design and code application programs using Java and existing or emerging technology platforms.
- Review, analyze, modify, encode, test, debug, and install programming systems for large-scale environments.
- Develop APIs and implement business logic that exposes datasets.
- Ensure the operating efficiency of existing application systems.
- Maintain documentation of systems development and revisions.
- Analyze organizational needs and goals for application-system development and implementation.
- Perform testing for developed applications.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience designing and coding application programs and developing Java-based applications.
- At least 5 years of experience reviewing, analyzing, and modifying programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging, and installation for large-scale systems.
- Experience with Spring, Hibernate, and databases.
- Ten years of experience ensuring application-system operating efficiency.
- Ten years of experience maintaining system-development documentation and revisions.
- Ten years of experience analyzing organizational needs and goals for application-system development and implementation.
- Experience developing APIs and implementing business logic that exposes datasets.
- Capital-markets experience is preferred.
