Base Salary
$140k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build secure device integrations and native clients for Windows, iOS, macOS, and ChromeOS.
- Develop backend services supporting device integrations and login systems.
- Lead projects from design through deployment and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Build Platform SSO for macOS, Googlebooks login support, and Apple School Manager integration.
- Architect end-to-end systems with diverse data requirements.
- Write modular, extensible, testable code and automate unit and end-to-end tests.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, IT administrators, and Customer Support.
- Mentor peers through code reviews and technical leadership.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to maintain the stability of critical login systems.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
- Professional experience building native applications for Windows or supporting Windows environments.
- Experience with device-centric software development and at least one device platform such as iOS, macOS, Windows, or ChromeOS.
- Experience with MDM platforms such as Intune or Jamf, Entra/Azure environments, or Apple School Manager.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects from design through deployment.
- Experience architecting end-to-end systems for complex product needs and diverse data requirements.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience creating modular, extensible, testable code.
- Preferred experience with Swift, C++, Go, TypeScript, Node.js, React, AWS services, DynamoDB, S3, and MongoDB.
- Preferred familiarity with AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.

- The role offers a location-dependent base salary range of $140,000-$196,000 outside NYC and San Francisco and $154,000-$215,000 in NYC and San Francisco.
