Responsibilities
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins for cloud-native and on-premises workflows.
- Architect Docker environments and reproducible build and test runners.
- Help design Python package creation processes and manage Conda recipes and environments for the ArcGIS API and its dependencies.
- Build and manage scalable, highly available build infrastructure, including runners, nodes, and registries, through automated provisioning.
- Implement security gatekeeping through SBOM generation, vulnerability scanning, license compliance, and artifact signing.
- Design monitoring frameworks and automate load and performance testing to identify regressions.
- Convert legacy manual workflows into everything-as-code processes.
- Manage third-party dependency lifecycles and secure the software supply chain from source code through distribution.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional DevOps, CI/CD, or platform automation experience.
- Hands-on experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure Pipelines, or similar tools.
- Experience with YAML-based pipeline configurations and infrastructure definitions.
- Exposure to automation and scripting, preferably with Python and/or JavaScript.
- Experience with Ansible, AWS CDK, Terraform, or similar infrastructure-as-code frameworks.
- Ability to write and optimize Dockerfiles and support container-based deployments.
- Understanding of artifact management, dependency management, and secure build practices.
- Familiarity with SBOM tools and artifact signing concepts.
- Exposure to AWS and/or Azure, especially compute and storage services such as S3 and Blob Storage.
- U.S. citizenship and an active or current-within-two-years Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, DevOps, Geographic Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
- Master's degree, backend systems automation, release engineering, blue/green or canary deployment strategies, SAST/DAST or container scanning, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, CompTIA Security+ certification, and Agile or Scrum experience are recommended qualifications.
