Responsibilities
- Build and run end-to-end QA and audit processes for multimodal data from third-party vendors and partners.
- Develop software interfaces, tooling, and infrastructure to automate data sampling, internal QA checks, quality tracking, and vendor insights.
- Define measurable, versioned data-quality rubrics and acceptance criteria with researchers.
- Review samples, make pass/fail decisions, maintain audit trails, and verify data before training.
- Deliver feedback to vendors, coach them on QA checks, and enforce standards through review and acceptance processes.
Requirements
- Approximately 5 years of experience building customer-facing software.
- Experience managing vendors or working directly with third-party data providers to improve output quality.
- Strong operations judgment and a data-driven approach to instrumentation, measurement, and iteration.
- Hands-on comfort reviewing data samples, writing rubrics, and spot-checking program output.
- Clear written and verbal communication across researchers, operations teams, and external partners.
- Preferred: experience with robotics, egocentric video, or multimodal sensor data.
- Preferred: experience defining requirements for QA or validation tooling or collaborating on automated data-quality checks.
