Responsibilities
- Build and manage scalable container and serverless computing environments.
- Operationalize a second Kubernetes cluster for enhanced scalability.
- Automate developer workflows, including dependency updates and Helm chart distributions.
- Modernize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CDK and Pulumi.
- Optimize Kubernetes resource management with tools like Spot Ocean and Karpenter.
- Provide self-service infrastructure-as-code systems for developers.
- Develop tooling for autoscaling compute workloads.
- Contribute upstream patches to open source community projects.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud role.
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes (k8s).
- Experience using TypeScript.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like CDK, Pulumi, or Terraform.
- Thorough understanding of Linux and networking protocols.
- Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
- Experience with automation, monitoring, and capacity planning.
- Eagerness to explore AI and emerging technologies.
