Base Salary
$117k - $172k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate automations and access tools that improve developer workflows while securing multi-cloud environments.
- Maintain least-privilege IAM policies, identity federation, role provisioning, and automated access-lifecycle workflows across AWS, Azure, and GCP accounts.
- Use Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices to manage cloud resources and access permissions.
- Maintain observability coverage including metrics, alerts, and basic distributed tracing across core data pipelines.
- Participate in code reviews and apply established testing standards and policy-as-code frameworks.
- Identify access drift, technical debt, security vulnerabilities, and platform issues, and collaborate with security and technical leadership.
- Participate in sprint planning, seek mentorship, and share knowledge with peers.
Requirements
- 1–2+ years of professional software engineering or DevOps/platform engineering experience with exposure to multi-cloud environments, IAM, or platform automation.
- Practical experience with or strong interest in AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.
- Practical experience with or familiarity with Terraform, Harness, or similar infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Exposure to at least one major cloud provider—AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform—including account management, IAM permissions, or core services.
- Working knowledge of at least one of Shell, Terraform, YAML, or Go, with willingness to learn the others.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, least-privilege principles, secrets management, and developer-friendly platform tooling.
- Familiarity with centralized identity federation, SAML, OIDC, or Okta integration is desirable.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or Kubernetes cluster access management is desirable.
- Coursework or personal projects involving distributed systems, cloud security, or API development are desirable.
