Base Salary
$92k - $125k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive, scalable, and high-performing web applications using Svelte and SvelteKit.
- Build and maintain content-driven experiences with Sanity CMS and headless architecture.
- Develop reusable UI components and integrate design systems and front-end frameworks.
- Integrate internal and external APIs, microservices, authentication platforms, and customer data services.
- Drive code quality through peer reviews, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering best practices.
- Optimize application performance, accessibility, SEO, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with product, UX, architecture, platform, and DevOps teams on customer-facing features and reliable delivery.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and support production deployments, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering standards and technical decisions.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of software development experience.
- At least 3 years of modern JavaScript application development experience.
- Strong experience with Svelte, SvelteKit, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, REST APIs, GraphQL, and Git.
- Hands-on experience with Sanity CMS, headless CMS architectures, component-based UI development, responsive web design, and client-side performance optimization.
- Experience deploying applications in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, web accessibility, WCAG, SEO, and Agile/Scrum teams.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Jest, or Vitest.
- Strong debugging and performance-tuning capabilities.
- Preferred qualifications include large-scale consumer platform experience, telecommunications or eCommerce experience, CMS migration experience, Adobe Experience Manager knowledge, design-system experience, AI-assisted development tools, and cloud-native architecture experience.
