Responsibilities
- Assist with designing, coding, testing, and debugging software features.
- Use GenAI tools to plan, generate, and test code.
- Pair-program with senior developers and participate in code reviews.
- Write and maintain automated tests with guidance from team members.
- Investigate, reproduce, and resolve bugs under supervision.
- Participate in standups, demos, retrospectives, and other team rituals.
- Learn and apply AI-assisted development, CI/CD, containerization, and monitoring practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of professional software engineering experience.
- Familiarity with Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or a similar programming language.
- Demonstrated interest in AI tools and integrating them into daily work.
- Interest in learning Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and modern development workflows.
- Interest in developing as a full-stack developer across front-end and back-end code.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical teammates.
- Curiosity about technology trends, performance, and software development practices.
- Bilingual French and English is considered an asset.
